Accounts Assistant (Internship – with potential for permanent role)

What You’ll Be Doing

Learning & Supporting

Assist with recording daily financial transactions in our accounting system.

Help prepare and send invoices, as well as follow up on payments.

Support in maintaining petty cash records.

Reconciling & Reporting

Help match bank statements to company records (bank reconciliations).

Assist in preparing financial reports for management.

Compliance & Payroll Assistance

Support the Accountant with PAYE, NAPSA, and VAT submissions.

Help compile payroll data when required.

Administration & Filing

Keep financial documents organized and easy to find (physical and digital).

Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information.

Team Support

Work with different departments to collect information for accounts.

Be ready to pitch in where needed — flexibility is part of the learning experience.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Skills

Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Familiar with accounting software

Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry).
